Working principle of sand dryer
Quartz sand is sent to the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enters the charging end through the charging pipe via the charging machine of the hopper. The inclination of the filling tube of sand dryer should be greater than the natural inclination of the material so that the material inside the tube can flow smoothly into the dryer. The dryer barrel is a rotating barrel with a slight inclination to the horizontal line. Down-flow direct heat transfer river sand dryer
The drying medium of down-flow direct heat transfer rotary sand dryer is usually flue gas, its combustion chamber is at the same end with wet material feeding, the direction of movement of hot airflow and material is the same, wet material moves from feeding end to discharging end, hot air also flows out from feeding end by discharging end under the action of blower and induced fan, wet material is heated by hot air and dried in this flowing process. The wet material is fed into the dryer and comes into contact with the drying medium with higher temperature, so the drying propulsion is larger at the beginning, and the temperature of the drying medium decreases as the temperature of the material rises. The temperature of the discharged dry material is low, which is easy to transport. However, from the point of view of dust generation, fine materials are easily carried away by the airflow, and the amount of dust is larger.
Counter-flow direct heat transfer river sand dryer
Countercurrent direct heat transfer sand rotary dryer is fed into the dryer by wet materials from the feed end, the combustion chamber is located at the discharge end, and the materials move in the opposite direction with the drying medium (hot air), and the materials are heated and dried in the process. Counter-current drying in the drying process, the drying propulsion is uniform, suitable for the drying of the dried material requirements are more stringent. The dust carried by the drying medium is filtered out by the wet material area, and the dust content in the airflow is less.
