The sponges are transferred to the next production unit, the laminating unit, by means of a sponge conveyor frame. Sponge alignment is achieved by means of a guide device controlled by photocells.
Parallel to the transport of the sponge, the fabric is simultaneously fed into the unit, welded to the fabric already in the unit by means of a welding machine, fed by the feed rollers of the fabric storage, folded by a folding machine and placed on the chute of the fabric storage, and then transported by means of an adjustable tension bar via the guiding device to the stenter, where the fabric is fixed to a needle chain and transported to the laminating unit. The supply of the fabric is accomplished at this point by direct use of a release shaft on the laminating device, which is then fed through a spiral open roller on the stenter outlet.
The third medium material interlining fabric is the feed roll with interlining memory pulled in from the release shaft at the same time as the other two materials. A folding machine folds the interlining fabric and places it on the conveyor belt of the interlining memory. The input of the interlining is the same as the input of the fabric. Liner rollers mounted on the laminating unit pull the liner out of the memory, a guide keeps the liner aligned, a spiral unwinder keeps it wrinkle free, and after the liner is fed to a second spiral unwinder, it is pulled in by the laminating unit.
Once all the components have reached the laminator, they are glued together by flame lamination. After the three materials have been glued together to form the finished product, the winding roll 1 pulls the finished product out of the laminator and delivers it to the trimming station (which cuts both edges of the finished product to a defined width), where it is transported by the winding roll 2 to the product storage (which guarantees a continuous, uninterrupted production when changing the materials or removing the finished product).
